Fun at the Fancy Dress Red Nose Day Climb at Dynamic Rock

Well a great time was had by all at Dynamic Rock Climbing Centre near Swansea last Friday (despite it being the 13th!). Lots of brave people turned out in their fancy dress costumes to raise money for Comic Reliefs Red Nose Day 2009.

We had Batman, Bees, Ladybirds, Cops and Robbers (one of them pinched my bag, fortunately an astute female cop caught him red handed (pictures of that to come)), fairies and all kinds of wonderful costumes and everyone had a go and most surprised themselves at how well they did.

The instructors kept things safe and fun, I was very impressed with the whole set-up. There were quite a few kids there who go regularly to climb and I spoke briefly with one of the mothers who told me her kids are completely hooked! Someone else told me that wall climbing is a great workout for your whole body, in fact, it is better than going to the gym and more fun by the look of it.

A great big well done from me to all of you who had a go, I am sure a lot of money was raised for a great cause and I may be able to post the total raised here a bit later.

I promised all who attended that I would post pictures for them to see and make comments on theirs and others costumes and well anything else you want to comment on.

So I have started that process, there were a lot of photos and so I have decided to put them up here in a couple of stages, so you will see in the right hand side bar, at the top a slide show of all those who attended. The next lot to be uploaded will be everyone in action on the walls. I hope you like them and please post comments here and help me to name the people in the photos, not full names please for your own privacy concerns but please do post first names.

For instance there is a great group photo posted at the top of this post but I don't know the names?
