We always hear a fair amount about how awful the youth of today are, lazy, rude, no ambition, etc, etc, blah blah but never enough about how great they can be as well. So I just wanted to draw attention to this Pontardawe teenage girl from Cwmtawe School who came to the rescue of a younger pupil at her school.

The younger pupil was grabbed by a person and this teenage girl saw it happening and rushed to her defence. The young girl is now safe thanks to the heroics of this teenager.

We don't know her name yet and I would love to print it here. She is urged to contact the police to help them with their enquiries. This is what the police said:

Detective Inspector David Rees, of Neath Port Talbot CID, said: “We urgently need to trace the girl who assisted the victim of this assault.
